Quick Answers About OTR

OTR is a single profile a candidate creates once with a recruitment commission. After that, the same profile is reused to apply for multiple exams under that commission, instead of filling personal details every time.

No. Each commission — whether central or state — runs its own OTR system. A Kerala PSC Thulasi profile does not work on SSC or HSSC, so candidates usually need a separate OTR for each board they apply to.

Every portal has a "Forgot Registration Number" or "Forgot Password" option on the login page, which sends a recovery link or OTP to the mobile number and email used at signup.

Most portals allow limited profile edits — such as address, photo or signature — through a correction window announced separately, but core details like date of birth are usually locked after verification.
