Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship 2024

Sitaram Jindal Scholarship is one of merit-cum-means based scholarship scheme. It is started by Sitaram Jindal Foundation, a charitable organisation in Bengaluru. Sitaram Jindal Scholarship is started to help eligible and needy students who wants to study higher education but due to lack of money, they did not do so.

Sr Jindal Scholarship provide financial help to all these students. More than 12,000 students get benefit of Jindal Scholarship every year. Jindal Scholarship Scheme is applicable for students pursuing class 11 to postgraduate level. Jindal Scholarship also covers Polytechnic and Diploma courses in technical education. Selected students will get scholarship of Rs. 2500.

SR Jindal Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

All the students who wants to apply online for Jindal Scholarship have to fulfil given below eligibility criteria for Jindal Scholarship.

Courses	Eligibility Criteria
Category A (Class 11 & 12)	Applicants must studying in class 11 and 12. Boys must have scored at least 65% marks in the previous exam and girls must have scored a minimum 60% marks to apply online. And students of Karnataka and West Bengal must have secured a minimum 75% marks (boys) in the last exam and 70% marks (girls).
Category B ITI students	Candidate must have admission in ITI courses at any government or private institute. Boys applying for the scholarship must have scored at least 50% marks in the last exam and girls must have scored minimum 40% for eligible.
Category C (Graduate & postgraduate courses)	Students who are pursuing  Graduate & postgraduate courses are eligible for scholarship. Applicants have to score at least 65% (Boys) & 60% (Girls). And students from Karnataka and West Bengal must have scored at least 70% (Boys) & 65% (Girls).
Category D (Diploma courses)	Candidates must pursuing diploma courses like Civil Engg., Computer Science, Chemical, Automobile Tech., Nursing, Pharmacy & Physiotherapy and environment-related courses. Applicants must have secured at least 60% marks (boys) and 55% marks (girls) in previous exam.
Category E (Engineering & Medicine courses)	Candidates must be studying engineering, medicine and architecture courses. MDS students are not eligible to avail the scholarship. Applicants must have secured at least 70% marks (boys) and 65% marks (girls) in the previous exam. Amd students of Karnataka and West Bengal must have secured a minimum 75% marks (boys) in the last exam and 70% marks (girls).

Eligible students can apply online for Jindal Scholarship throughout the year. Applicants can submit application form as and when you wants. Students can apply online for scholarship only once in the duration of their course.
