The Government of Karnataka has launched the State Scholarship Portal (SSP) scheme for students to help them financially. The main purpose of the scheme is to pay the education costs of students belonging to minority classes. All interested and eligible candidates can apply online. Eligibility criteria for ssp karnataka.gov.in 2023:
- The SC, ST, OBC or any other backward community, candidates are eligible to apply for SSP pre-matric scholarship.
- You may apply for this scholarship if your student of Class I and Class X.
- You must have scored a minimum of 50% in your previous qualification exams. The students of Standard I are exempted from this criterion.
- The minimum annual income of your family should not be more than Rs.1 lakh p.a.
- You may also apply for this award if one or both of your parents work in the cleaning profession.
