- Applicants must be residents of West Bengal and have been continuing education in institutes situated in west Bengal.
- Applicants must continue his /her study in educational institutions of west Bengal after passing out in the current year from the west state board/council secondary /higher secondary and madrasah education.
- Students must belong to a minority community.
- Annual family income not exceeding rs.2.5akhs
- No NRI candidates are allowed
